Rayne is an interesting large town just south of I-10. It is West of Lafayette & East of Jennings. It has a great candy shop - lots of candy you can't find anywhere else. There are a lot of "Frog" things in town including a really cool sculpture.

Route 66 - Pops - Arcadia, OK
This is a really neat place to go. They have an Old Time Soda Fountain, burgers & lots of different kinds of Bottled Pop. It is on historic Route 66. There is a HUGE Neon Pop Bottle in front of the Store & Gas station.
Cypress Swamp on Natchez Trace Mississippi
This is my favorite place on the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is located northeast of Ridgeland, Mississippi (near Jackson).
